US State Privacy Notice

1. Scope & Our Role

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for residents of California and other US states with consumer privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”). HighwayTMS is a business-to-business service.

For the data our customers put into their workspaces (about their drivers, employees, contractors, and business contacts), we act as a service provider or processor for that customer, which decides why the data is collected. If you are a driver or employee of a customer, send requests about that data to your employer or company first. For Account & Platform Data we hold about users ourselves, we are the business, and this notice applies to that data directly.

2. Categories in the Past 12 Months

In the past 12 months the Service has collected the following categories of personal information. Much of it is entered by customers about their own personnel.

The service providers are listed in the Privacy Policy under Service Providers & Disclosures. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the Service and keep it secure, not to infer characteristics about a person.

3. No Sale, No Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as an opt-out request; because we do not sell or share, there is nothing further to opt out of.

4. Your Rights

• Know and access: the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, and the sources and purposes.
• Delete: ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
• Correct: ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Limit sensitive information: we use it only to provide and secure the Service, which the law allows without a separate opt-out.
• Non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices, or reduce quality because you exercise these rights.

5. How to Make a Request

TOLL-FREE NUMBER — CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL IF REQUIRED.] To protect your data we will verify your request by matching it to the account email and may ask for more information. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission; we may ask you to confirm it with us. If the data is held for a customer, we may direct you to that customer or forward your request to them.

We confirm receipt of a request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may extend that once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, and will tell you why. You can appeal a refusal by replying to our response.
